Ahhhh! A long weekend! I love long weekends :) I look forward to the break from work. I still have 10 holiday days, and like almost 20 hours of banked time, and I do have to take that at some point.... maybe around Christmas.

This weekend, I have the task all parents of school aged children hate. Labelling school supplies. I HATE LABELLING! Every little pencil, every pencil crayon, every notebook, every little thing has to have her name or initials on it. *sigh* I wish I were rich. Then I would pay to get them done for me.

On another vein, I am sitting here at 10pm, and my darling 3 year old has just come downstairs for the 100000th time, to tell me something. I put her up to bed 3 hours ago!!!!! I wish she would just sleep! Or at least listen to us. I have given birth to the most defiant child ever. If she doesn't want to do something, there is no making her do it. She throws threats, and punnishments off like they are nothing, and continues to do whatever she wants. I really hope she grows out of it sometime...

Anyways, I should try and get her BACK up to bed... *sigh*

Wow. Post #3 in 3 days! This has to be some kind of record! There is just a few things I feel like I need to share with the world :)

I will never fear that my 3 year old will grow up with no imagination. Yesterday, she transformed into a robot. You can read all about the adventure in Ambyr's blog (link posted on the left). What made her come up with the idea??? Well, Max and Ruby of course! See? Watching TV is good for the imagination! LOL. Now if only TV would make her go to bed! She has been staying up super late, and poor me has been trying my hardest to get her to go to bed at her bedtime. 3 hours later, she falls asleep on her floor after sobbing for mommy.

*sigh*

Well, time for work!

Wow... I am posting the day after my last post.... this is almost regular.. *shh! Don't tell anyone!*

Well, an update to yesterday's funny/stressed blog entry:

I worked until 6:30pm, and when counting my hours, minus lunch of course, that equals out to a whopping 11 hours!!! Did I get it all done? Nope! I was kind of forced to go home, because my mean (I mean loving) husband came and picked me up.

I had horrible dreams though. I was dreaming that I worked until 2am! I was also answering the various phone calls until that point too! I was so mad when my hubby woke me up to tell me to move over so he could get into bed, because I didn't finish writing down the message for one of my co-workers yet! Everyone repeat after me:

Tanya Has No Life!

As for me today, I am fighting with a migraine, and I am losing. I think I am going to go throw up, and finish my working day.

Dear My Boss,

My demands for today are simple....

1. I request no more work be placed upon either one of my 2 desks
2. I request that all calls that come into this office be kept to a minimum
3. I request that no more staff quit today
4. I request that under no circumstances will there be any more calls in today that say "I forgot to call about a concrete test, and we are pouring now... can you get a technician out here?"
5. I request a hide-a-bed be purchased and set up in the lunch room where it is quiet since I will be here all night slaving over my work
6. I request that supper be served around 6pm, and breakfast around 7am

If my demands are not met, I might just go crazy, and you don't want to see me when I have finally snapped....

Thank you.
