What a long week... It has been really busy on the work front, and it looks like there is no end in sight. I am taking a little break before my head explodes to write a quick blog.
I think my headache medicine has stopped working... either that, or I have been under a bit too much stress, or using my brain too much... I have a killer migraine today. I think this weekend I am going to use it as recouperating. Or potty training my lil girl...
I have an insanely stubborn 2.5 year old... she does what she wants, when she wants, and how she wants. She doesn't want to go pee in the potty? She wont. She will amuse you, and she will sit on that potty for an hour, and hold it in... then once you get that pull-up on her, she will pee! Why??? Because she KNOWS you want her to go pee pee in the potty! *pulling out my hair* She is definately my trying child and the one that will make sure all my hair is white.
My 7.5 year old has developed a facination with Captain Underpants... and anything related with toilet humor... I thought she was a princess... I guess princess is out, and raunchy is in *sigh* How do I ever keep up??? All I can say is at least she is reading... and reading... and reading... and reading... amazing we can even get her nose out of a book!
As for me, I need to get back to work and continue frying my brain slowly... Just buy me a straight jacket, and give me a 48 hour vacation to the funny farm, and I will be happy.

for whomever reads my blog, please pass on this link to everyone you know, and please please pray for this little boy. I don't care what faith you are. He needs all the prayers he can get. I have been following him for most of his little life, and my heart breaks for the family!
*Added* His grandma posted in his guestbook, and it touched me so deep, I have to share it is long, but please take the time to read it:
Howdy, It's Grammie. I have been here in front of my computer for some time. I have been reading all your notes from all your friends and family that come to visit you each day. I wished I could give them all big hugs for you. They are such wonderful and caring people. Wow! We have been so busy these last few weeks, with all the visits from friends and family who were able to come visit you. I know there are so many others that wanted to be here, just to get a chance to put your little hand in theirs, but life is not always what we want, is it?At the clinic today, you rested quietly. Your mouth was dry and you wanted a drink of water. Grammie had her giant styrofoam glass of ice water, I did bring two just in case you wanted some. You had your sippy cup and I filled it with ice water for you. As I drank my water, you pleaded for me to give you a drink. So, I was going to give you some out of the giant cup. Mommy said to give you the sippy cup, so it would not get water all over you. Grammie sometimes gives you way too much at a time. Even though you are very weak, you still let mommy know what you wanted. You pointed to the cup I was holding and demanded it, not that baby sippy cup. Of course, mommy said okay. Grammie got a little wash cloth to put under your chin, so if I went overboard, you would not get soak. With every sip, you made it seem like it was the very best water. Darling, I can see why Heavenly Father chose you to come at this time. You are such a very strong spirit. You are going to do things your way, I bet even in Heaven. I can only imagine the mission that God has planned for you. You have given us so much in such a short time you have been here. For many of us, you have taught us the true meaning of miracles. You have been our miracle every day of your life. You have taught some of us to pray and have faith that our prayers would be answered. You have taught us to love one another without every meeting. You have taught us compassion for those that can not understand the simple things that life gives us. You have given us all your unconditional love with each and every smile you have shared with us. You have touched so many people in so many ways in such a short time.I hope one day as I am walking down the streets of Canada, Argentina, Germany, New York, Lousiana, California, even Montana, on and on, someone will stop me and ask me if I am Donovan's Grammie. They will say, I knew Donovan since he was a tiny baby. Or they will say, "I always prayed for Donny." Or maybe they will say, "How is Mommy and Daddy Teddy Bear doing?" They will always ask, "What is Big Brother, Dylan, doing these days?" There probably is not many place around that you are not known in. Some people will say, "I did not know Donovan, but my sister talks of him all the time." Her sister will tell stories about how she watched the Colts games with you, as if she had been sitting beside you during the games. Donovan, you will be known all over the world as the "little teddy bear who made me more..." and as they try to finish the sentence. Each person will have something different to say. How neat that is! Under those sleeping eyelids, I am sure you were hearing the news the doctor was giving your mommy and Grammie. Mommy knew the news was coming, but it did not keep her from praying that she still could have more time. When we arrived home, you were just not ready to go back inside. You wanted to ride in the big yellow jeep. The weather had changed from the Florida temps of 70s to those Chicago temps of 40s or under. So, Mommy said, bring the jeep in. That was silly, but Mommy meant it. The jeep was almost as big as the sofa. Nevertheless, we brought the jeep in. We washed it down and moved the furniture out of the way. It did not take long for you and Dylan to start driving in circles in the front room. Dylan had other things to do, so you took over the driving seat. I turned on your movie "Cars" and you sat in your jeep watching your movie. It was like you were at a drive-in theater in your own front room. After a while, you got tired and it was time to go back to the rocking chair. I made you comfortable and you fell fast asleep. The movie "Cars" was still going. It has been a restless night for Grammie. My thoughts are of you, but especially Mommy and Daddy and Dylan. I wished I had the right words and emotions to share with them. I know you will be okay, for you are going to such a wonderful place. You will be just a strong there as you have been here. When I see little children your age, I think of how you will be once you get up there in heaven. You will be running and playing with all the other children that have gone before you. They will make you feel at home and they will they about all the things they have been doing. It will be like when Dylan goes to school each morning. It is so cute. When Dylan arrives at school, all the children are so happy he is there. They welcome him as if he was away from a long time. Once Dylan is at his seat all the children are ready for class to begin. When you arrive in Heavenly Father's preschool, the children will be rejoicing also. They will gather around and asked what took you so long. They will embrace you and tell you about their families and their teachers and on and on. I guess that is what it is all about, isn't it. "Homecoming."Darling, Grammie loves you and I am so lucky to be your Grammie. I have a little tune for you. I love you so much,I can't conceal it.I love you so much,It's a wonder you don't feel it. How true those words are. I always try and leave my door open for opportunity... sometimes I get bad, sometimes I get good. You just never know in this crazy thing called life. Life is too short to only want good things to happen. The bad things you learn from, and the good things, you take as a reward for learning from the bad. At least that is the way I look at it.
I am keeping my door open for opportunity... are you???

This post will be all about the mental picture... get into your comfy spot and get ready to imagine.......
ready??? good.....
This post is entitled: The crazy fat lady, her banjo, and her bird.... (the tears start to form for me already)
Picture a bigger lady, not all there in the head... she is quite ummmm... crazy. She has a bird, and the bird has picked up on her neuroses very quickly. The bird does not know how to land yet, so it will fly into whatever... a window, a door, her head, the table, it doesn't matter. I don't think the bird will ever learn how to land, and will forever fly around in a state of confusion like its owner.
Now this lady has a new passion of the week. She has decided she wants to learn how to play the banjo. She took the time to order one off the internet, and is going to teach herself. The bird does not like said banjo.. The bird does not like the sight, nor sound of said banjo, and when the banjo is in view, the said bird goes kamakazi into a window every single time.
*pling pling pling pling pling pling* *THWAP* *pling pling pling pling* *THWAP*
That is going to be one interesting house. That is if said bird lives through this ordeal.
Maybe it is funnier for me, because I know this person... the thought brings tears to my eyes and leaves me laughing with great mirth... it is the funniest thing I heard next to said woman saying she "helped so much with the wedding and all the planning". She is going to plink herself right into the funny farm and take the bird along for the ride.... Who wants to split the $50?????
ready??? good.....
